About Kay Denmark

There's always laughter in my work. As an illustrator, I'm obsessive about detail but take great liberties with fingers and toes. I revel in color and am especially fond of turquoise.  I like to tell a good story with my artwork. Can years of observation compensate for no formal art training? One good belly laugh from a pleased client makes for a resounding "yes." Currently, I've been doing a lot of digital work but I still focus on pen and ink, markers and watercolors. New York City is my home base.
